Photography is my life.
From a very young age , I knew I would become a photographer.
I was fascinated by all kinds of art.
Drawing, sculpture, painting, graffiti and of course photography.
Many of my weekends in high school were spent in art galleries staring at the artworks in amazement. I always found myself drawn to the photography exhibitions and fell in love with black and white images. I was 17 years old when I purchased my first camera, and I’ve lived and breathed photography ever since.
A couple of years later, as a shy and lanky kid, I began an apprenticeship in a commercial photography studio working with many highly skilled and talented artists. Combined with several years of Photography College, I absorbed everything that i saw, and then began experimenting in my spare time to develop my own signature style.
That was 25 years ago but it feels like yesterday.
Today I specialize in commercial and advertising photography, and have been lucky enough to work throughout Australia and internationally.
When I first began in the industry photography was all film and Polaroid but these days everything is digital. Living through this transition has been an amazing experience and it's hard to believe what is possible these days. I am constantly evolving my style and developing my skills to give my clients the best result I can provide.
In some ways I consider the actual photography to be secondary to the human connection I make with my clients.
I like to connect with people and get to know a little more about them and to understand exactly what they need.
Making that connection is very important to me.
I’m really just a people person.
I look forward to sharing my passion and dedication with you to make your photography come to life.
